Styles of music we teach:
Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, Fingerstyle, Bluegrass, Worship, and more!
Instruments We teach:
Guitar, Bass, Piano, Ukulele, Mandolin, Drums, Voice, and more to come!
Methodology:
We believe that your child should have fun learning music!
However, it is like learning a new language, so it should be challenging. It is our goal to teach music in a way that will challenge our students, but also help them enjoy playing!
We believe that everyone learns to play an instrument for a variety of reasons. Because of this, we treat each student as an individual and do not put them in a one size fits all program. We will utilize different teaching methods for each particular student.
What to expect for your first guitar lesson
Beginner Guitar Students:
Our goal for beginning guitar students is to start making music right away!
The first thing you will learn are the names of your strings, and then you will be on your way to learning your first song!
Music books:
For our beginning students, Hal Leonard Book 1 will be provided and will be utilized in learning the foundations of note reading.
Which guitar should I buy?
For electric guitarist, you will also need a small amp and instrument cable for at home practice.
